This paper focuses on the multi-agents system as a promising approach that presents potential benefits to support this environmental and social challenge. It presents the major features of this method and examines its ability to meet the overall performance important needs and issues in industrial systems. It provides also an overview on the deployment of multi-agents systems to design and implement sustainable performance in industry. The study shows that, despite the important role of multi-agents systems in achieving firm's sustainability, they still not fully utilized to address overall performance, with all its environmental, social and economic aspects, as a key challenge in the enterprise." @default.
