In this work, mesoporous nanocomposite of CuCo2O4/CuO synthesized by sonochemical assistant thermal decomposition and the anti-cancer effect was studied as well. The environmental friendly method by surfactant free as well as low temperature was applied. A natural complex of copper-cobalt-coccus prepared by sonochemical method and finally decomposed thermally at 600 °C. CuCo2O4/CuO mesoporous nanocomposites were successfully obtained through one-way reaction and characterized by; x-ray diffraction pattern (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS). Furthermore, vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) was used to study the magnetic properties of CuCo2O4/CuO nanoparticles. MTT assay was performed in order to determine the anti-proliferative effect of CuCo2O4/CuO samples against 4T1 breast cancer cell lines. CuCo2O4/CuO nanoparticles induced dose-dependent cytotoxic effects against 4T1 breast cancer cells with IC50 of 0.82 mg/ml.
