Electrodeless discharge lamps containing BiI3 along with liquid-nitrogen cooled hollow cathode lamps containing Bi2O3 were utilized to generate the bismuth plasma. A total of 107 spectral lines were detected in the entire spectral region. Hyperfine structure (hfs) measurements were carried out on 76 lines, of which 21 were analyzed for the first time. Hfs magnetic dipole constant (A) and electric quadrupole constant (B) were determined for 31 energy levels. Hfs A constants for 6 levels and B constants for 8 levels are reported for the first time." @default.
