- W2920980595 abstract "During the past decade, researchers have investigated the vibrations of piezoelectric and Piezomagnetic Nano beams. Generally, in addition to displacement fields, owing to the small ratio of height to length of the beams, the electromagnetic fields are also considered as one-dimensional unknown variables. This makes the application of electromagnetic boundary conditions on the upper and lower faces of the beam more rigorous. In this research, free vibrations of Timoshenko Nano beam having magneto-electro-elastic properties and laying on two parameter elastic foundation have been studied, considering the linear nonlocal theory of elasticity with the assumption of one dimensional displacement and two dimensional electromagnetic fields. Free vibrations and mode shapes for Dirichlet and Neuman boundary conditions have also been studied. For validation of the results, the obtained frequencies are compared with those of a similar, fully one-dimensional case. Using the extracted equations for the Timoshenko beam and utilizing the definition of Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, the relations for Euler Bernoulli beam have been established and free vibrations of Euler Bernoulli and Timoshenko beams have been compared. Having the dynamic equilibrium equations of a single beam, those of a bilayer beam are deduced and the vibration behavior of a double layer beam with ideal bonding and with elastic interlayer is investigated. It is confirmed that vibration Frequencies have inverse relation with nonlocal parameter.
