- W2921327761 abstract "Recently, the demands of developing a heat sink materials which is essential for solving overheating problems due to the heat generated by devices have been increased in accordance with the use of a number of electrical and lighting component. Due to the lack heat release mechanism, LED chips have been frequently overheated, and as the consequence, the life time of LEDs and the packaging materials have reduced by thermal degradation. In order to solve these problems, we have developed polymer-metal grafted graphite composites with light weight, excellent heat radiation and commercial properties. The highly dispersed metal particles were grafted on surface of graphite to increase the degree of dispersion in polymer resin by using RF-thermal plasma process. And then, dopamine has coated on the surface of metal grafted graphite for increasing liquidity by solution process. In this way the polymer-metal grafted graphite compound with high heat dissipation was shaped into LED headlamp housing by injection molding machine. As a result, we have successfully developed the LED headlamp with high heat dissipation performance for automobile. The polymer-metal grafted graphite composites will also be expected to apply in improving the heat dissipation characteristics of various electronic products." @default.
