- W2929506421 abstract "The function of Cu2S-H4SiW12O40/MoS2 (Cu2S-SiW12/MoS2) used as counter electrodes to reduce the polysulphide electrolyte in CdS quantum dot–sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) was studied. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and Tafel-polarization evaluate that Cu2S-SiW12/MoS2 counter electrodes have good electrocatalytic activity. Under simulated solar light irradiation, the PCE of Cu2S-SiW12/MoS2 counter electrode was increased up to 4.28%, which is higher than those of the QDSSCs featuring Cu2S-MoS2 (2.90%), bare Cu2S (2.45%), SiW12/MoS2 (2.18%) and MoS2 (1.25%) counter electrodes. This enhancement is mainly attributed to rapid electron transport between the conduction band of Cu2S and MoS2 through the electron mediator SiW12, together with the synergistic effect of these components." @default.
