The Einstein-Roscoe equation was used to study the thermodynamic simulation of high titanium slag via FactSage software. The effects that the MnO had on the fusing temperature and the viscosity of high titanium slag were studied, and the reliability of the thermodynamic simulation method is verified by experiments. The results showed that the fusing temperature and the viscosity of high titanium slag decreased when the MnO content increased. The fusing temperature of high titanium slag was 1626.17∼1691.24 °C. After the high titanium slag was completely melted, the viscosity of high titanium slag was 86∼127 mPa · s. When the temperature was lower than the fusing temperature, the high titanium slag precipitated into solid-phase particles. The amount of precipitation increased when the temperature decreased, which in turn increased the viscosity of the high titanium slag." @default.
