- W2938785804 abstract "Abstract Most of the methods for digital bas-reliefs modeling are based on images or 3D models. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to construct bas-reliefs surface with isogeometric analysis from sketch curves provided by the users. Our modeling system allows the users to input the boundary sketch of a planar domain and the feature constraints of bas-relief surface, then the bas-relief is generated automatically. A smooth spline surface will be constructed by solving a Poisson equation on the planar domain with isogeometric analysis method, in which the solution surface is used as the base surface. In particular, if there are some specified features on the base surfaces, we will solve the Poisson equation again and the shape of bas-relief feature will be taken as extra constrained condition. Several examples are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed bas-relief modeling method and its application in stamp design." @default.
