It is more convenient to find other solutions by concentrating on device-related solutions. One of the solutions to achieve higher spectra efficiency is through device-to-device (D2D) communication. This paper presents and compares recent spectral efficiency techniques in 5G through D2D communication. The main focus is on the utilization of different techniques to improve spectrum efficiency. Furthermore, the challenges in interference management, resource utilization, power control, and mode selection of the proposed work are compared." @default.
