• W2944901595 abstract "The innovation process in industry-based clusters is fundamental for companies to create competitive groups defined by leadership in their respective sectors, and innovation must be continuous over time to have medium- and long-term effects. In this work, the authors propose to insert the INNOVA Model of Madrid Aerospace Cluster (Spain) in the cluster formed by the cities of Queretaro (Mexico), Toulouse (France), Wichita and Seattle (United States), and Montreal (Canada) to reinforce the creation of wealth between both shores of the Atlantic Ocean. The authors theoretically analyze the importance of entrepreneurship, technological innovation, and endogenous development in the industrial districts, and they use a factorial analysis to examine the INNOVA Madrid Aerospace Industry. Conclusions show that the integration of the INNOVA Model of Madrid Aerospace Cluster into the Queretaro Aerospace Valley will benefit firms belonging to both clusters, as they will have better access to strategic inputs, capital, inputs, and knowledge. As a result, this collaboration will reinforce technological-rooted expertise in specialized firms, strengthen the importance of engineering activities in civil aviation markets, and increase technological understanding of materials, composites, and aerostructures, among other effects." @default.
