- W2945348501 abstract "Our work focused on an application of lag sequence analysis(LSA) method to explore the sequence of two main learning activities: watching videos and completing assignments. The data were collected from an online course in 2015 on the 365 University platform. In this study, we coded four key time nodes in every chapter and generated a learning path map by LSA.Then we usedGephi torepresent the results visually. Our results suggested that, while learning such online courses, learners are less enthusiastic about watching videos, and there are few reviews between one chapter and another. Based on what we found, this paper discusses the causes of learners' positive and negative learning behaviors and contributes to the design and development of learning resources and activities based on the learners' need for external resources and knowledge building. We also give detailed suggestions about the design of the curriculum and platform as well as the application of adaptive learning paths." @default.
