- W2950179546 abstract "In this paper, the developed mathematical model and the method for finding the roots of the transcendental transverse resonance equation is used for the analysis of shielded cylindrical waveguides supporting the propagation of quasi-TEM modes (coaxial lines with layered magneto-dielectric filling). A relatively small number of publications are devoted to the study of such structures. This circumstance is explained, first, by the complexity of the implementation of such structures, as well as the relative complexity of their calculation by established methods. Nevertheless, their analysis is necessary, because, for example, filling of already used coaxial lines can show its heterogeneity in certain conditions. For the analysis of multi-layered coaxial lines in this paper relations for determination of wave numbers in a multilayer coaxial line, including a T-mode are derived. The features of the calculated dispersion characteristics and their comparison with the known special cases are analyzed." @default.
