- W2951601236 abstract "Aligned TiO2 nanowires with different crystal phases were prepared by electrospinning and annealing with different temperatures. The morphology, crystal structure and band gap of the samples were characterized using scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman, and ultraviolet–visible (UV–vis) absorption. In combination with gold interdigital electrodes, aligned TiO2 nanowires are arranged to fabricate planar sensors. A comparative ethanol sensing study among these samples was also performed. The results indicate that the aligned TiO2 nanowire sensor with rutile phase accounts for 27% of the total mass shows a better response to ethanol at 400 °C and presents fast response–recovery properties (8 and 1 s, respectively, at 500 ppm). The ethanol sensing mechanism and advantages of the aligned porous nanowire structure in sensing materials were also discussed." @default.
