- W2953600481 abstract "The longitudinal resistance Rxx around the Landau level filling factor ν = 2/3 quantum Hall state (QHS) is transformed to the huge longitudinal resistance state (HLRS) by a dynamic nuclear spin polarization using a large ac excitation current. By measuring the Rxx and Hall resistance Rxy with varying excitation and measurement currents, we find that the HLRS Rxx shows three insulating resistance peaks corresponding to ν = 2/3 spin-unpolarized and spin-polarized QHSs and ν = 3/5 QHS. The peaks at the phase transition points shift to lower or higher ν values depending on the excitation points. Furthermore, we observe a deviation of Rxy from the quantized value that depends on the filling factor of the excitation point. We discuss a possible mechanism for the insulating behavior of HLRS Rxx and deviated Rxy around the ν = 2/3 QHS using the recently discovered stripe domain structure, and explain the peak shifts in terms of the Overhauser field constructed in the stripe domains." @default.
