- W2960261920 abstract "The inner micro structure and effect of different external conditions on the structure/anatomy of biological systems play vital role in physiological research. X-ray synchrotron based phase contrast imaging techniques are particularly suitable for structural analysis of soft biological systems and advanced low absorbing materials at enhance contrast. X-ray phase contrast imaging such as propagation based and differential phase contrast imaging techniques have been implemented at X-ray Imaging Beamline, Indus-2 synchrotron source and applied to study the structure of bone scaffold polymer, mice and human organs, anatomical growth of pupae, leaf venation network, plant root, stem and seed under different conditions. We present here few recent X-ray imaging and micro-tomography results to demonstrate the potential of X-ray phase contrast imaging techniques for 3D characterization of biological systems and soft biomaterials." @default.
