Electromagnetic hybrid particle-in-cell simulation was performed for simulating pulsed-power-driven fast plasma flow. Numerical results showed that accelerated particles are generated in the plasma flow after passing through the perpendicular magnetic field. The gradient of the compressed magnetic field due to the propagation of the plasma flow affects the acceleration of charged particles. The maximum energy of accelerated particles depends on the initial peak strength of the perpendicular magnetic field." @default.
