- W2967200315 abstract "In this poster we present the results of the “Bassa Romandiola Survey Project”, a landscape archaeology project carried out by the Bologna University from 2009 on the plain east of Ravenna city. “Romandiola” is the Renaissance name of the region which included part of the modern Ravenna province. From a geomorphological point of view, in the past it was an unstable lowland area. In some cases we could document the post-Roman and medieval settlements, characterized by an intense trend of increasing, especially from the Carolingian age, a trend sometimes connected to the enucleation of the habitat." @default.
