- W2969231736 abstract "Abstract A fluorine-doped tin oxide coated glass substrate was modified with a gold nanoparticle-anchored conducting poly(aniline blue) nanocomposite (AuNP/PAB/FTO) as an efficient sensor for non-enzymatic detection of glucose. The PAB was deposited onto the FTO electrode by the cyclic voltammetric sweeping method, with high surface coverage. Subsequently, AuNPs were deposited onto the PAB/FTO electrode with good crystallinity and purity by the seed-assisted growth method. The as-prepared nanocomposite exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of glucose, with two linear responses in concentration ranges from 2 to 50 μM and 50–250 μM with sensitivities of ca. 1.30 and 0.12 μA·cm−2·μM−1, respectively. The limit of detection of this sensor was 0.40 μM. The sensor exhibits high reproducibility, long-term stability, repeatability, low interference, and good recovery of glucose in real samples. These results indicate that the present nanocomposite has great potential for electrochemical bio-sensing applications." @default.
