- W2969439052 abstract "Most of the existing methods that deal with the buffer time allocation (BTA) mainly consider the length of the section and the traffic density, but fail to consider the impact of the actual delay of trains. The integration of the actual delay effects into the BTA needs to be resolved. In this work, a delay time distribution model was established. Based on the delay distribution, a BTA model with weighted average delay expectation time as the objective function was constructed and solved by a mathematical analysis method. Different allocation models were designed for different ranges of the total buffer time values. Finally, validation results from the Dutch railway network show that the expected delay time in the segments is reduced by 12.57% after using the proposed method, compared to the original buffer time at the stations, which indicates that the BTA model is effective." @default.
