The physicochemical changes in the MWCNT composites were found to be correlated with the catalyst calcination temperature. When the catalyst calcination temperature increased from 300 to 700 °C, the electrical conductivity improved. The reduced weight of the MWCNTs after calcination was determined to be due to the removal of water remaining in the catalyst, resulting in an improved specific surface area of the MWCNTs and increased synthesis yield. Additionally, it is expected that the removal of water from the catalyst will be beneficial in the mass production of multi‐walled carbon nanotubes because it can prevent the fume phenomenon, which reduces synthesis yield." @default.
