- W2973163396 abstract "So far, little attention has been paid to the horizontal free surface of the ledge, or rock layer, which is located within the packing. However, this part of the block, which must also be effectively destroyed, in the vast majority of mass explosions has a larger area than the side surface and is also subject to destructive dynamic loads from previous mass explosions on the upper ledge. The use of a sufficiently effective method of explosion to an unassembled mass for a large area of the upper plane of the block being blown up is not considered, since such a method is not technologically feasible. Therefore, the quality control of grinding in this zone in the known design solutions is limited to the recommendations for calculating the power of the rock layer over the end of the well charge (or the length of the packing) from the known empirical ratios. When a single concentrated charge of the ejection explodes, a cone-shaped funnel is formed, within which the explosion energy is spent on grinding, overcoming the gravitational forces of the rock and tearing it along the contour of the funnel. Since it is difficult to determine separately the components of energy consumption for these processes, the energy costs are calculated relative to the unit volume of the exploded rock. Currently, it is common to use the Boreskov similarity principle in the calculation of the discharge charges, according to which the ratio between the mass of the charge and the volume of the rock removed outside the funnel depends on the so-called function of the explosion action index. This publication describes the mechanism of destruction of the mountain massif above the end face of the borehole charge through a consideration of the mechanism of expression of the symmetry of the field distribution of stress and strain in the end part of the borehole charge, which consists in the transition of the axisymmetric propagation in a spherical, characterized by more significant dissipative power losses. The methods of preventing uneven destruction of the massif in the layer between adjacent wells at the level of packing by selecting the rational parameters of the well charge and the location of the charges in the system of mass explosion are established. The parameters of the well charge and the application of a new scheme of multi-row short-wave blasting are substantiated." @default.
