- W2979054288 abstract "In order to probe the physiological responses of bamboos on O3 concentrations rising and interspecific difference of the tolerance to O3 under the background of climatic change,meanwhile to provide theoretical evidences for bamboo cultivation,the method of open-top chambers(OTCs) was employed to approach the effects of elevated O3 on lipid peroxidation,anti-oxidation enzyme system and osmotic adjusting substances in the leaves of three dwarf ornamental bamboos.The results indicated that:(1)After 45 d,with the ozone concentration increasing,O-·2 content and MDA content and relative electron conduction and SOD activity increased in the three ornamental bamboos.The POD activity and soluble sugar content decreased in the leaves of Indocalamus decorus,while increased in the leaves of Pleioblastus kongosanensis and Sasa glabra.The soluble protein content decreased in the leaves of I.decorus and S.glabra,however,increased in the leaves of P.kongosanensis.(2)In the treatment TR-1,I.decorus and P.kongosanensis did not show injury,but S.glabra showed injury significantly.In the treatment of TR-2 lead reactive oxygen accumulation in leaves of three dwarf ornamental bamboos,intensified the damage to membrane lipid,and the function of anti-oxidation system as well,consequently,the growth of three dwarf ornamental bamboos would be affected.(3)Principal component analysis showed that MDA content was the most important indicator which provided a quantitative evaluation of the different physiological indices for dwarf ornamental bamboos under the ozone stress,which indicated that the order of the adapability and the tolerance to ozone of the three ornamental bamboos was I.decorusP.kongosanensisS.glabra." @default.
