The adopted method consists in identifying the form and the number of the associated components by considering their evolution as a function of the irradiation dose and the storage time after irradiation. The various treatments developed revealed that three lines in a Gaussian form contribute to the spectrum of irradiated glucose. Two lines are unstable and vary in opposite ways with time, while the third component is stable. Therefore, the area under the entire spectrum is relatively constant." @default.
