Measurements and Main Results LH (Laparoscopic Hysterectomy) was performed in an ambulatory surgery center setting by several physicians at respective institutions in Portland OR, Atlanta GA, Minneapolis MN, Phoenix AZ, Houston TX, Dallas TX, Chicago IL, and New York City NY. Cases were referred to a High Performance Network of surgeons from self-insured companies interested in direct contracts outside of traditional commercial contracts. 200 Patients were referred to the provider network and underwent LH at one of several locations. Bundled pricing was provided with indemnification against complications. All surgeons performed LH with same day discharge. Patient demographics, including age/BMI/procedure, will be provided at time of presentation. Outcomes and cost were compared to national standards for Gynecology Surgery. Conclusion Bundled Gynecologic Procedures provide a Cost Effective Value Based Solution in the US Healthcare System. Publication of such success is imperative in order to expand the opportunity for deployment of Advanced Alternative Payment Methodology as set forth by CMS in the Affordable Care Act.
