A purposive sample group consisting of 10 nurseeducators having experience with student incivility were interviewed.Semi-structured interviews were conducted using an interview guide. Generalinductive data analysis and thematic coding were utilized to identify themes. 1.4. <span lang=EN-IN style=font-size:10.0pt;font-family: times= new= roman,serif;mso-fareast-font-family:times= roman=>Results: The participants asserted thatstudent incivility in nurse education is a growing and disturbing problem andnegatively impacts nurse educators and the teaching and learning dynamic. Nurseeducators described how student incivility had impacted the perception of theirjob, their teaching, and interfered with student interactions and studentlearning. 1.5. <span lang=EN-IN style=font-size:10.0pt;font-family: times= new= roman,serif;mso-fareast-font-family:times= roman=>Conclusions: Implications for nursing policy andpractice relate to training nurse educators about the expectations of theteaching role and how to address, prevent and manage student incivility.Implications for nursing also include training students about the demandingnature of nurse education and the professional nurse role to promote awarenessand prevent incivility. 2.
