- W2983262793 abstract "Concerning the relations between strength of adhesion bond and adhering pressure few papers have been presented hitherto as far as the authors know. As one of the meager reports, Fulcumura and Kawai (1) pointed out in their paper that there are no significant effects of pressure (0.2-20 kg/cm 2) to the tensile-shear strength of adhesion using phenol resin as adhesive. On the other hand, according to Bil~erman (2) and/or Kanamaru (3), the more the adhesive liquid flows into the crevasse or the pits existing on the surface of substrate, the stronger adhesion bonds per apparent (or geometric) adhesion area should be formed owing to the increase of intrinsic contact area. I f this view is correct, when adhesive is applied towards the surface under high static pressure, the invasion of adhesive and, in consequence, the increase of adhesive bond should be expected. Same correlation could be carried out even with the tackiness bonding. In order to make sure the discrepancy between the previous results and the above assumption, some experiments on adhesion under high pressure to 1,000 kg/cm 2 were carried out." @default.
