This arises the need to develop alternative energy sources to fulfil the global demand. The solar system is a clean and trustworthy way to electrify the rural area. The next concern is the global warming as conventional energy sources enhance the carbon emission in the world. There is a need for proper energy generation system to provide the smooth energy. In this paper, we design a 12 kW effective grid-connected solar system to control the harmful effect of global warming and to electrify the rural area of Chennai, India. India has more than 280 sunny days, this provides a better chance to use solar energy for electrification. PV system model is used for design the system which shows that the carbon emission level decreases to 8748 kg/year when we install the grid-connected solar system in the proposed area." @default.
