This would take place at the operational level where training meets HR needs, at the tactical level where training assists in the creation of solutions to HR needs, and at the strategic level, where training is viewed as an essential component of the development of the HR function within the organisation. The authors offer some practical advice on building such a relationship. Trainers need to understand the components of HR work, defined in this article as recruitment and selection, human resource planning, reward management, employee services, relations and development. Strategies for integrating training into these functions at the operational, tactical and strategic levels are discussed." @default.
