- W298829328 abstract "According to Graham Sumner institution as a concept and a structure, the former meaning ideas, notion, doctrine, interest and the latter a framework, or apparatus, or perhaps only a number of functionaries set to cooperate in prescribed ways at a certain conjuncture. In simple terms, Social institution can be defined as culture patterns influencing human behavior and it are through this social institution that human beings obtain a large part of their material, social and cultural satisfaction. Social institutions are patterns that direct the behavior of human beings in their manifold activities. The basic social institutions are the family; religion; marriage and education or etc.But our concerning point is that: * What are the main reasons for breakdown of family system? * What are the changes took place in the marriage or religious activities? * The role of government and non governmental organization to uplift the education in India? According to Le Play, the family in its accepted form is like religion and property, an imperishable institution, but its types undergo considerable modifications. The main issue of the family system is that now the joint family system is breakdown into the nuclear family. The main reason is the industrialization or better standard of living. In marriages some changes also took place like the marriageable age because in the 18th or 19th century there was not any marriageable age was prescribed but now the age is prescribed and there are some strict act also made to prohibit the child marriages or etc. And if we talking about the religious activities then we cant forget Article 25 to 28 of the Indian constitution that India is a secular country and our government cannot interfere with the religious activities of any religion. In education some major changes took place like free education is provided to girls. Through sarva shiksha Abhiyaan government tries to curb the grass root education problems. Now Article 21 A introduced by our government in the Indian constitution. CONCLUSION: The main aim of this project is that to know how the social institutions are changed and how law will work to curb the problem in our society. The paradimenshift in the social institution shows that now are society accepted the changes and our government tries to curb the problems like child marriages or etc.Through sarva shiksha abhiyaan or free education government tries to solve the grass root education problem. This are the some changes which the researcher identifies but we want some more efforts in the part of government or non governmental organizations." @default.
