- W2989051703 abstract "The main goal of this work was to develop a versatile computational model for quantitative analysis of the impact of tangential vibrations of the substrate on friction force in sliding motion under optional direction of these vibrations. Dynamic motion equations constitute the basis of this model. To describe the friction force, dynamic friction models were used taking into account compliance of the contact zone between the shifted body and support. Model was verified experimentally for three directions of vibration in relation to the macroscopic movement trajectory of a shifted body. The mechanism of friction force reduction at any direction of tangential vibrations and conditions for the occurrence of a local minimum in this reduction whilst changing vibration direction are explained." @default.
