• W2989164405 abstract "연등행사는 중요무형문화제 제122호로 대표적인 축제로 본 연구는 종교적 관점에서 아닌 대중적인 축제퍼레이드 관점에서 특징을 중심으로 구체적인 사례 분석 한 연구이다. 우리의 대표적인 퍼레이드는 연등행사와 함께 이루어졌으며 이 기간의 절정이 연등퍼레이드라고 할 수 있다. 우리의 연등퍼레이드의 특징은 석가탄신의 축하라는 종교성과 세시풍속으로서 민속성이 오랜 기간을 깊게 융합되어 종교 및 종파를 넘어 국민 모두가 참여하고 즐기고 있다. 또한 특정한 연출가가 없이 참여자 스스로 주체가 되어 자연스럽게 어울리면서 질서정연하게 큰 규모의 행사가 진행되는 거의 완전한 공동체적인 성격을 띠고 있다. ‘등’이라는 중요한 상징물이 계기가 되어 ‘등’을 함께 만들면서 소통하는 과정과 새로움을 더하여 선의의 경쟁을 다양한 등을 표현하여 즐거운 볼거리를 제공하고 있다. 현재는 세계적으로 명성이 높아 외국인 방문객이 날로 증가하고 있다. 특히 행사 참가자들이 직접 참여하여 함께 체험함으로 대동의 한마당을 이루는 대표 축제로 자리매김하고 있다. 축제퍼레이드는 세계 각국에서 경쟁력 있는 문화상품으로써 관광객 유치를 위해 전략적으로 적극 활용하고 있다. 따라서 연등 퍼레이드는 한국을 대표하는 것으로 많은 방문객을 유입하는 콘텐츠로 중요성이 증대하고 있으며 연등 행사에 대한 정부의 정책 개발이 더욱 필요하다. 우선 연등퍼레이드에 다양한 연희를 추가하여 생동감을 불어넣는 공연의 요소가 필요하다. 또한 ‘등’ 제작에 있어 축제를 강화하기 위한 화제성, 희화성과 규모 있게 구성하고 참여의 가치를 높일 수 있는 문화상품 개발도 필요하다. 그리고 우리의 오랜 전통과 독특한 문화적 상징성, 참여와 소통의 공동체성, 우리나라를 대표하는 축제로서 가치를 지닌 연등 행사가 세계와 함께 공유할 수 있도록 체계적인 전략이 요구된다. 연등 행사가 보편적 인류문화자산으로 위상을 확보하기 위하여 유네스코 세계무형문화유산 등재할 필요성도 있다. 따라서 연등 행사의 역사만큼이나 안정된 축제로 개최되고 있으나 현재에 만족하지 말고 국가의 문화자산으로 세계적인 축제로 가치의 확산이 되길 기대한다.The Lotus Lantern Event is a typical festival registered as No.122 of Important Intangible Cultural Heritage. It is to analyze the event as the concrete case centering on feature of public festival parade perspective instead of simply called as the religious event. Our typical traditional parade is always established with the Lotus Lantern event. It is paraded on the peak of event. The characteristics of our lantern event is deeply amalgamated both the religious sentiment to celebrate Buddha’s birthday and folklore as the traditional custom, and all people joined and enjoyed beyond the religious denomination. In addition, it has a fully communal character which the participants themselves become subjects and naturally getting large-scaled crowds without a certain leader. People experience communication process and newness each other by designing the Lantern, and enjoy good competition presenting various kinds of Lantern. Finally, it shows spectacle scenery. Currently, it has world- wide reputation, and is bringing more visitors. It becomes a representative festival that the participants directly join and experience, and greatly united together. The festival parade is positively applied to attract the tourist over the world as the cultural event. Thus, the Lotus Lantern Parade is considered as the important contents bringing a lot of tourists to taste Korean culture. It is needed to develop policy for the Lotus Lantern Event. Most of all, it shall be added various theatricals as a lively performing element. Furthermore, it is suggested to emphasis event scale by the topicality and specific pictures when design the Lanterns. The development of cultural product is also needed to increase the value of participation. We shall make the systemic strategies so that we could share our long- termed traditional, unique cultural symbol, the sense of community for the participation and communication with the world through the Lotus Lantern event positioned its value as our representative festival. It may be considered to enlist at the World Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO to recognize as the universal human cultural assets. Thus, we have been hosted the Lantern event as stable as the history. Nevertheless, we never content with the present. We shall endeavor to spread its value as the cultural assets of our nation and a global festival." @default.
