- W2989755871 abstract "Abstrak. Mentimun (Cucumis sativus L) merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman merambat yang termasuk kedalam jenis sayuran dari keluarga Cucurbitacea. Mentimun mengandung flavonoid dan vitamin C yang berfungsi sebagai antioksidan dan anti-kanker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui total flavonoid dan vitamin C pada beberpa jenis mentimun yang ditanaman di Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial yang terdiri dari satu faktor, yaitu jenis mentimun (T) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu T1= mentimun biasa, T2= mentimun watang, T3= mentimun wuku,dan T4= mentimun suri. Kombinasi perlakuan ini adalah 4 taraf dengan 3 kali ulangan. Analisis yang dilakukan ialah total flavonoid, total vitamin C dan pH. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa mentimun biasa memiliki kandungan total flavonoid 0,85 mgQE/ml, mentimun watang 0,58 mgQE/ml, mentimun wuku 7,22 mgQE/ml dan mentimun suri 2,02 mgQE/ml. Mentimun biasa mengandung vitamin C sebesar 10,33 mg/100 g bahan, mentimun watang 8,80 mg/100 g bahan, mentimun wuku 8,80 mg/100 g bahan dan mentimun suri 19,90 mg/100 g bahan, sedangkan nilai pH yang diperoleh mentimun biasa 6,21, mentimun watang 6,13, mentimun wuku 6,22 dan mentimun suri 4,69. Kandungan total flavonoid tertinggi diperoleh pada jenis mentimun wuku dan vitamin C tertinggi diperoleh pada jenis mentimun suri. Analysis Total of Flavonoid and Vitamin C on Several of Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L)Abstract. Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L) is belong to group of vegetables from the Cucurbitacea family. Cucumber contains flavonoids and vitamin C which have functions as antioxidant and anti-cancer. The aims of this study were to determine the total flavonoids and vitamin C in several types of cucumbers planted in Aceh. This research uses non factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting one factor, (i.e cucumber T) with 4 levels i.e T1 = regular cucumber, T2 = watang cucumber, T3 = wuku cucumber, and T4 = suri cucumber. The combination of these treatments were 3 replications. The parameters observed were total flavonoids, total vitamin C and pH. The results showed that the reguler cucumber, has flavonoid content of 0,85 mg / QEml, watang cucumber 0,58 mg / QEml, wuku cucumber 7,22 mg / QEml and suri cucumber 2,02 mg / QEml. Reguler cucumber containts of vitamin C 10,33 mg/100 g material, watang cucumber 8,80 mg/100 g material, wuku cucumber 8,80 mg/100 g material and suri cucumber 19,90 mg/100 g material. Reguler cucumber has pH 6,21, watang cucumber 6,13, wuku cucumber 6,22, and suri cucumber 4,69..
