The target populations under this study are the one thousand five hundred and sixty two (1562) academic staff of Bayero University Kano. Meanwhile, for the purpose of these study three hundred and ten (310) respondents was used out of the population of one thousand five hundred and sixty two (1562) respondents that make up the sample size of the study. The principal instruments used for the purpose of this study are questionnaire, which was designed in 5-point Likert scale. Multiple regression analysis was employed to test the hypothesized model of the study. The result of regression analysis shows that training method affects job satisfaction of the academic staff of Bayero University Kano. The result also confirms sponsorship of trainee as an important factor that influences job satisfaction. Finally, the result also shows that comfort and convenience influence job satisfaction of academic staff of Bayero University Kano. This study recommends that management need to create mechanism for proper assessment and evaluation of employee performance after sponsorship and training." @default.
