- W2994713319 abstract "Abstrak Telah dilakukan penelitian antibakteri terhadap ekstrak dan fraksi daun Ficus pubinervis dengan metode mikrodilusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol, fraksi n-heksan dan fraksi etil asetat daun Ficus pubinervis memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri gram positif ( Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, dan Bacillus subtilis ) serta bakteri gram negatif ( Escherchia coli, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), dan Pseudomonas aeruginosa ) terkecuali fraksi air yang tidak menunjukkan aktivitas antibakteri. Kemudian dilakukan karakterisasi ekstrak dan fraksi dengan metode kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT). Ekstrak etanol daun Ficus pubinervis menunjukkan aktivitas antibakteri dengan Konsentrasi Hambat Minimum dan Konsentrasi Bunuh Minimum lebih dari 1000 mg/mL, sedangkan pada fraksi n-heksan dan fraksi etil asetat menunjukkan Konsentrasi Hambat Minimum lebih dari 1000 mg/mL. Kata kunci : daun Ficus pubinervis , antibakteri , mikrodilusi, kromatografi lapis tipis Abstract There has been conducted research to determine antibacterial activity of extracts and fractions from Ficus pubinervis leaf using microdilution method. The research shows that ethanol extracts, n-hexane fraction and ethyl acetate fraction have antibacterial activity towards gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, and Bacillus subtilis) and gram negative bacteria (Escherchia coli, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) but water fraction doesn’t showed any antibacterial activity. Extract and fractions of Ficus pubinervis were characterized by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) method. Ethanol extract of Ficus pubinervis leaf showed antibacterial activity with Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) were found more than 1000 mg/mL, while the n-hexane fraction and ethyl acetate fraction showed Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) more than 1000 mg/mL.
