This experimental method is not recommended because it is difficult and expensive to make down-scale specimen applying principle of similarity. To overcome this difficulty, Hybrid Test is considered as an alternative using the technique of numerical analysis instead of down-scale specimen compatible to the original structure. In particular, hybrid test is useful for liquid type damper which is not easy to carry out numerical analysis due to non-linearity of liquid behavior In this study, the performance of TLCD was evaluated by hybrid test. Comparing the result of hybrid test with the result of test fulfilled with down-scale structure, the reliability of hybrid test was confirmed. Spring and rail system were used for down-scale structure and shaking table and load-cell were used in hybrid test. MATLAB program was used for numerical analysis." @default.
