The method uses a preconditioned conjugate gradient solver for one of the factors, and this solution is based on a method developed for two-dimensional flows. This two-dimensional method is described, and its performance is summarized for steady and unsteady flows. The two-factor method is then given. Larger time steps can be used with this method than is possible with the more conventional three-factor method. Test results for the transonic steady flow over the ONERA M6 wing are given." @default.
