To measure the impact of individualized Interval training (PEP’C program) on the aerobic capacity and quality of life of patients with chronic diseases. Prospective study by direct measurement VO2max before and after 20 sessions of individualized physical activities. Quality of life was evaluated with the MOS SF-36. VO2max of the 153 patients increased by nearly 10% (P < 0.05). Power developed at first ventilator threshold (VT1) increased by nearly 30% (P < 0.05) and by nearly 40% for the subgroup with neurodegenerative diseases. Quality of life significantly improved.
