• W2997906776 abstract "이 연구에서는 과거의 한국어 발음 실태 조사의 현황을 면밀히 살펴보고, AI 기기를 활용한 한국어 발음 실태 조사 방법론을 제안하였다. 발음 실태 조사는 언어에 대한 이론적 연구에서 매우 필요하다. 발음 실태 조사 자료는 음운론 연구뿐만 아니라 사회언어학 연구에서도 중요한 참고 자료가 되기 때문이다. 또한 발음 실태 조사는 언어의 표준 규정을 정비하는 데 매우 중요하다. 언어의 표준 규정은 언중의 실제 언어 사용을 면밀히 살핀 후에 이루어져야 더욱 합리적인 규정이 될 수 있기 때문이다. 발음 실태 조사에 대한 필요성과 중요성은 과거에도 이미 인지되어 왔으며, 다양한 방식으로 발음 실태 조사가 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 과거의 방식은 조사 방법론적인 측면에서 한계가 분명했다. 이에 이 연구에서는 AI 기기를 활용하여 한국어의 발음 실태를 조사하는 방법론을 제안한 것이다. 이 연구에서는 AI 기기를 활용한 발음 실태 조사가 다음과 같은 장점을 가질 것으로 보았다. 1) 현실 발음을 수집하기에 적합하다. 2) 대규모 발음 조사가 가능하다. 3) 실시간 발음 조사가 가능하다. 4) 발음 자료 제공자의 특성을 파악하기 용이하다 5) 조사 결과를 연구 및 정책 결정 과정에서 활용하기 편리하다. 현재로서는 이 연구의 아이디어는 국어학자의 제안에 불과하다. 모쪼록 이 연구에서 제안된 AI 기기를 활용한 한국어 발음 실태 조사 방법론이 국어학자와 공학자의 긴밀한 협력 작업을 통해 실제 시스템으로 구축되기를 기대한다.In this study, we propose a methodology for surveying Korean pronunciation using AI devices. Pronunciation surveys are necessary in the theoretical study of language, as such survey data are an important reference not in only phonology but also sociolinguistic research. In addition, these surveys are important in developing and improving language standard regulations after careful consideration of actual language use in speech. The necessity and importance of the pronunciation survey has been recognized in the past, and the survey has been conducted in various ways. However, past approaches were clearly limited in terms of research methodology. Therefore, this study proposes a new methodology to investigate the pronunciation of Korean language, using AI devices. This methodology is expected to have the following advantages: 1) suitable for collecting realistic pronunciations, 2) possibility of a large-scale pronunciation survey, 3) possibility of a real-time survey, 4) easy-to-understand characteristics of the pronunciation data provider, and 5) convenience in using the survey results in the research and policy-making process. At present, this survey methodology has not been implemented elsewhere and remains just a suggestion of a Korean linguist.
