According to study results, Zn-Pal inclusion increased the intestinal length (quadratic, P=0.030) and weight (linear, P=0.047), enhanced the intestinal total superoxide dismutase (linear, P=0.014), copper/zinc superoxide dismutase (linear, P=0.027), and catalase activities (quadratic, P=0.014), decreased the number of Escherichia coli (linear, P=0.011) and Aeromonas hydrophila (linear, P=0.003) in intestinal digesta, improved the hindgut morphology of height of villus (linear, P=0.034; quadratic, P=0.034), depth of crypt (quadratic, P=0.040), and height of villus/depth of crypt (quadratic, P=0.007) in blunt snout bream. Fish fed Zn-Pal had higher mRNA levels of copper/zinc superoxide dismutase (linear, P=0.046), manganese superoxide dismutase (linear, P=0.023), catalase (linear, P=0.045), and nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (linear, P=0.005), exhibited lower mRNA levels of toll-like receptors 2 (linear, P=0.011), toll-like receptors4 (linear, P=0.007), tumor necrosis factor receptor associated factor 6 (linear, P=0.003), nuclear factor-kappa B (linear, P" @default.
