- W3007889623 abstract "The carbon quantum dot (cQD) modified disposable pencil graphite electrodes were developed for the first time in this study for electrochemical monitoring of drug-DNA interaction. The biomolecular interaction between calf thymus double stranded DNA (ctDNA) and an anthracycline antineoplastic drug, Daunorubicin (DNR) was investigated by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) technique. For this purpose, experimental conditions, such as, the concentration of ctDNA, concentration of DNR and interaction time were optimized. Under optimum conditions, the detection limits of DNR and ctDNA were found to be 0.02 μg/mL and 0.89 μg/mL, respectively. The effect of interaction time between DNR and ctDNA was explored upon to the changes at both DNR and guanine oxidation signals. Drug-DNA interaction process was also examined by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) technique." @default.
