- W3008481515 abstract "Abstract Two new 3-D lanthanide−organic frameworks constructed by 2,2′-bipyridine-3,3′-dicarboxylic acid and oxalic acid, [Ln4(μ3-OH)4(bpdc)3(ox)(H2O)5]·nH2O (Ln = Dy, n = 13 (1); Er, n = 11 (2)), were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Both of the compounds were characterized by various methods, including elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV–vis, powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric differential thermal analysis and single crystal structure analysis. Compounds 1 and 2 crystallized in the monoclinic crystal system, space group P21/n. The characteristic emissions of Dy(III) ions in compound 1 were found to be dependent on the solvents, especially be greatly enhanced by ethanol and greatly quenched by acetone, and could detect both qualitatively and quantitatively the content of acetone in ethanol solution." @default.
