It considers a patient example to demonstrate true orthopedic correction of Class II patients with hyperdivergent growth utilizing miniscrew implants. The chapter discusses the various aspects of four domains of orthodontic proficiency, namely data gathering and diagnosis, treatment objectives and planning, treatment implementation and management, and critical analysis and outcomes assessment. Pronounced orthopedic and orthodontic changes can be expected with this form of treatment, with an average 2.8° reduction of the MPA, a 1.9° increase of SNPg, and a 3 mm relative reduction of lower face height. When the evidence is considered, the treatment of Class II, hyperdivergent, growing patients presents an opportunity to address the underlying skeletal and dental problems in a manner that normalizes the skeletal relationship through true forward mandibular rotation." @default.
