The development of information technology in this globalization era has experienced rapid changes, for example in exploration activities is the Remote Sensing method. In identifying areas of potential gold deposits, an analysis of Landsat Image data was interpreted using ENVI software (Version 5.3) based on tone / color and relief with a combination of several bands so as to determine the distribution of surface lithology and alteration of the study area, Radar Imagery using DEM SRTM imagery interpretation of the alignment pattern, the Cianjur Sheet Geological Map, and field observation data and PT. Cianjur Giri Kencana as an image interpretation data validation. Based on the results of the interpretation of Landsat 8 images, light blue scrabbled-tone colors are thought to be a distribution of volcanic rocks, and hydrothermal alteration minerals are identified by their appearance of light orange, and the highest density densities which are considered to be mineralized areas are in the southeast to the western part of the volcanic rocks. from the research area. The estimation is proven by field observation data consisting of andesite, andesite breccia, and volcanic breccia, as well as kaolinite, monmorillonite, chlorite, and pyrite minerals scattered in the southeast & west, but for the location of observation the vein and joint structure is at low to high density. Perkembangan teknologi informasi di era globalisasi ini telah mengalami perubahan yang cukup pesat, contohnya dalam kegiatan eksplorasi ialah metode penginderaan jauh ( Remote Sensing ). Kegunaan dari metode penginderaan jauh ialah memilih lokasi yang berpotensi adanya endapan bahan galian dengan ciri-ciri tertentu sehingga dapat mempengaruhi aspek kegiatan eksplorasi yaitu waktu yang efisien. Dalam mengindetifikasi daerah berpotensi adanya cebakan emas dilakukan analisis Citra Landsat menggunakan software ENVI (Versi 5.3) berdasarkan rona/warna dan relief dengan kombinasi dari beberapa band untuk mengetahui sebaran litologi permukaan dan alterasi daerah penelitian, Citra Radar menggunakan citra DEM SRTM dilakukan interpretasi pola kelurusan, Peta Geologi Lembar Cianjur, serta data pengamatan lapangan dan Laporan Eksplorasi PT. Cianjur Giri Kencana sebagai validasi data interpretasi citra. Berdasarkan hasil dari interpretasi citra landsat 8, rona scrabbled berwarna biru muda diduga sebagai sebaran batuan vulkanik, serta mineral alterasi hidrotermal dikenali dari kenampakan warna oranye muda, dan densitas kerapatan tertinggi yang dianggap sebagai daerah mineralisasi berada pada bagian tenggara hingga barat dari daerah penelitian. Pendugaan tersebut dibuktikan dengan data hasil pengamatan di lapangan yang terdiri dari batuan andesit, breksi andesit, dan breksi vulkanik, serta mineral kaolinit, monmorilonit, klorit, dan pirit yang tersebar pada bagian tenggara & barat, tetapi untuk lokasi pengamatan struktur kekar dan pemineralan berada pada densitas rendah hingga tinggi. Selain itu jika dilihat dari arah pemineralan dan kekar pada bagian tenggara dan barat, terdapat arah yang sama yaitu dari timur laut - barat daya.
