The artificial source represented by the huge amounts of water from groundwater wells that were collected in Green Mubazzarh surface lake while the other source comes from Ain Al Faydah natural Spring. Implemented new three residential districts, which they are located in the north, south and western borders of the study area become in direct contact with the occurrence and impact of these huge dumped water sources. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the probable influence of the pumped water on the water table level regime and consequently the basement zone of the existing buildings of the new urban extensions. Therefore, Groundwater level field measurements were carried out in seventeen available and accessible groundwater wells in the study area and three ERT geophysical profiles as well. The results reveal fluctuation in water level ranging from 3 m to 17 m. The water table level varies from 170 m to 250 m from the absolute mean seal level (a.m.s.l) and indicates two directions of groundwater flow that virtually comparable with the topographic elevations, which changes from 185 to 270 m. On the hand, the ERT profiles show a clear evidence of water level rises that overlay the true measured groundwater level and acquires shallower depths (1-3 m) from the ground surface. These acquired and recorded water level depths display that the new urban districts may affect by the groundwater level uplift and water quality in the future. Ultimately, this study shows that how importance of issuing early warning for the stakeholders and the habitants in the region, and it will certainly avoid future severe environmental and economic problems.
