The present study aims to analyze the influence of ethylene during the micropropagation of Epidendrum denticulatum, as well as verifying the action of ethylene regulators. The explants were inoculated in MS medium, with or without the addition of AgNO3, CoCl2 and CEPA. Ethylene quantification was performed at 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 and 60 days after inoculation under a 12 h/12 h (light/dark) and 0/24 h (light/dark) photoperiods. Treatments with lower levels of ethylene showed higher survival percentages and better developed plants. These results provide a better understanding of the influence of ethylene during tissue regeneration of E. denticulatum and will be helpful in the propagation of other native Brazilian orchids." @default.
