• W3015876804 abstract "The problem of informatization of Ukrainian periodicals is important for solving a number of tasks concerning the development, discussion and implementation of scientific information messages. The object of the study was the development and implementation of a web presentation of a professional medical periodical. The aim of the work is to develop a model for the Internet presentation of a scientific periodical and to study the impact of the introduction of this resource on the process of accompaniment to scientific periodicals. The concept of informatization of scientific medical periodicals is studied. At the first stage, the structure of the information resource model was developed; software algorithm was created; the mechanism of implementation and determination of methodological approaches to the estimation of investment efficiency in the development of the information system wass worked out. The foundations for the creation of websites of periodicals and requirements of legislative institutions was taken into consideration and a model of a web resource consisting of six modules: Current issue, Indexation, Archives, For Authors, Contacts was offered. The main modules consist of the following elements: Advisory Board, Editorial Board, History of the Archives of the issues of the journal, Editorial Policy, General Remarks, Procedure for Submission, Declaration of Publication Ethics, Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form. AS4U software products to implement the developed algorithm were selected. The statistical indexes of the particular website for five years (2014-2018) were used to study the effect of the website of periodical publication on filling the content of the journal and to expand the communications of the scientific community. The implementation of the second stage of the Internet product development has begun, and its purpose is to present the professional periodical to the international scientific-metric databases. The website www.aml.lviv.ua was developed and introduced to the professional medical periodical Acta Medica Leopoliensia / Lviv Medical Journal, the founder of which is Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. The website is in four languages: Ukrainian, English, Polish, Russian. The influence of the Internet resource development and its influence on the journal content filling and the expansion of scientific communications has been analyzed. The implemented model of the website has shown a positive impact on the expansion of the possibilities of scientific communication. The availability of content of the periodical has simplified the process of preparation and presentation of scientific messages. The selected software allows the editorial staff of the magazine to to work online to fill the website independently, without any help, enabling the content to be quickly and effectively adjusted, and the system of passwords provides access to content and gives protection of information and can be accessed to any time and anywhere." @default.
