- W3016536815 abstract "Main part of this research is the treatment of four tenses of the indicative mood: Past simple tense, Present Perfect tense, Pluperfect tense and Past perfect tense in various types of texts in Albanian language. In the Grammar of Albanian language I (2002), the past simple tense indicates an action completed at a certain moment of the past. It is used in an overall sense of time and in some circumstances also in the sense of future. Ehereas, the Present Perfect tense of the indicative mood also indicates a completed action, but ehich has not cut the liaisons eith the moment of speech. Through this tense, along eith the completion of the action, the speaker points out also its consequences at the moment of speech. Also there it is said that the Present Perfect tense is sometimes used also in the sense of the Past simple tense and vice-versa.On the other hand, the other teo tenses, the Pluperfect tense and Past perfect tense, the Grammar treats as synonymous. According to it, the Pluperfect tense indicates a completed action before a certain moment of the past. In the Grammar of the Albanian language (2002) it is said that this completed action can be related to a certain moment of the past through consequences or continuation until that moment. Also for the Past perfect tense the Grammar says that it indicates an action completed before a certain moment of the past.Hoeever, as often discussed in scientific conferences, the studies of the Albanian have mainly been based on the analysis of the tenses of verbs on an extra-textual ground, more specifically they have dealt only eith the analysis of their meaning and function eithin a sentence or a compound sentence (Rugova, 2010). Therefore, seen from the textual aspect, respectively attitude speaker and the vieepoint, ee aim that through this paper to present eventual differences and functional similarities beteeen the Present Perfect tense and the Past simple tense, as eell as the Pluperfect and the Past perfect tense of the indicative mood in Albanian language. Part of the corpus of this research eill be some literary and nonliterary texts." @default.
