- W3016907199 abstract "Thermogravimetric (TG), differential thermogravimetric (DTG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) curves are recorded for the powder form of SnSe single crystals in inert nitrogen (N2) and argon (Ar) gases. The N2 and Ar TG showed different magnitude weight loss and gain in different temperature ranges. The weight gain in case of N2 atmosphere is more compared to Ar atmosphere. The N2 and Ar recorded DTG showed single and double peaks respectively. The DTA curves showed initial exothermic followed by endothermic and at last exothermic natures for both the gases. The Brunauer-Emmett-Teller model is employed to determine the adsorb numbers of atmospheric molecules/ atoms on samples surfaces. The specific surface area is also determined and the obtained results are deliberated in details." @default.
