- W3017500364 abstract "積雪寒冷地の札幌市では路面凍結防止のために，塩化ナトリウムを主成分とする凍結防止剤が大量に散布されている．散布された塩類は除雪された雪とともに，雪堆積場へと集められ，春になると融けて近隣の河川に流れ込む可能性がある．しかしながら，雪堆積場からの融雪水中の塩類の含有量や河川水質，生物への影響はほとんど明らかになっておらず，その実態把握が求められている．本研究では，まず，札幌市内の 73 箇所の雪堆積場における人為由来の塩化ナトリウム含有量の推定をおこなった．次に，2015 年 2 月から 6 月にかけて雪堆積場 7 か所とその近隣河川を対象に，雪堆積場からの融雪水の水質ならびに雪堆積場からの融雪水が流入する上流部（コントロール区）と下流部（インパクト区）における河川水の水質調査，河川に生息する底生動物と付着藻類の定量調査を 2015 年 2 月から 6 月にかけて継続的に実施した．調査の結果，融雪初期において，雪堆積場からの融雪水中の Na＋ 濃度と Cl－ 濃度が河川水の 2～9 倍と極めて高くなる傾向が見られた．さらに同時期のインパクト区における Na＋ および Cl－ 濃度がコントロール区に比べて 1.56 ± 1.27 mg L－1，3.05 ± 2.74 mg L－1（平均値±標準偏差）上昇した．生物については底生動物の一部では雪堆積場の負の影響が認められ，トビケラ目の個体数と代表的な水生昆虫 3 目（カゲロウ目，カワゲラ目ならびにトビケラ目）の総個体数はコントロール区よりインパクト区で低い傾向が認められた．積雪寒冷地における河川生態系の保全のためには，融雪開始時期の河川水質の急激な変化を抑えることが重要であり，これにより底生動物への影響を回避することができるだろう．" @default.
