Diese Sonderausgabe von CoAst widmet sich der technischen Planung sowie dem wissenschaftlichen Hintergrund des ersten Österreichischen Satellitenpaares: UniBrite/BriteAustria. In den Konferenzbeiträgen zum First BRIght Target Explorer Workshop werden Fragen zum optimalen Satellitendesign, der Flugbahn, den Bodenstationen sowie Startmöglichkeiten erörtert. In weiterer Folge werden verschiede Klassen variabler Sterne als mögliche Zielobjekte und Beobachtungsstrategien für die photometrischen Beobachtungen besprochen. Contents: W.
